- Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Front Office Coordinator to be the first point of contact at our medical clinic. This role is responsible for providing excellent patient service, managing scheduling and administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations at the front desk.
Key Responsibilities:Patient Services & Front Desk Operations
- Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries.
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary documentation.
- Handle patient registration, including intake forms and electronic medical records (EMR) entry.
Administrative & Office Management
- Maintain an organized and professional front desk area.
- Ensure timely processing of paperwork, billing, and payments.
- Coordinate with medical staff to optimize scheduling and minimize wait times.
- Assist in maintaining patient confidentiality by following HIPAA and clinic policies.
Billing & Payment Processing
- Collect co-pays, outstanding balances, and process payments.
- Assist patients with billing inquiries and communicate with insurance providers as needed.
Communication & Coordination
- Act as a liaison between patients, doctors, nurses, and other staff members.
- Provide information on clinic policies, procedures, and services.
- Maintain clear communication with medical teams regarding patient flow and urgent cases.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $24.00 per hour
