About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Global Communication to join our team at Medela. As a key member of our corporate communications team, you will be responsible for developing and executing global communication strategies that align with our business objectives.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in corporate communications, public relations, or marketing communications, preferably in a CPG and/or healthcare environment. You will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing global communication plans that cover internal and external communications, media relations, social media strategies, and event communications.
- Partnering with marketing and corporate teams to contribute to product, category, and program launch planning.
- Providing senior leaders with communications counsel support strategic issues and overseeing crisis communication.
- Managing and optimizing leadership presence on LinkedIn, including content creation, analytics, and audience engagement strategies.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 8-10 years professional experience in corporate communications, public relations, or marketing communications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with any other language being a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and content management tools, with experience with Canva and Adobe Suite being highly desirable.
