Job Summary: MedExpress is seeking a skilled Radiologic Imaging Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing radiology services and basic nursing duties in a clinical setting.
In this role, you will be responsible for completing provider orders, performing accurate X-rays, and practicing radiation safety precautions. You will also prepare and transmit images to the radiologist for over-read, retrieve and archive radiographic reports, and create/Burn CD's in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
We are looking for an individual who can assist patients as needed, complete occupational health testing, and provide detailed and accurate data collection during clinical intake of patients. Additionally, you will complete patient referrals and callbacks daily, and ensure proper, concise and complete EMR documentation and paper based documentation for all assessments and procedures.
