Community Relations & Digital Marketing Associate

The Community Relations & Digital Marketing Associate will plan, create, implement, and monitor social media, website, and digital programming that will help achieve Medford Cooperative’s business objectives and goals. As a part of the marketing team, this role will be involved with broader marketing objectives, internal and external communications, and community programs and events.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include to use social media platforms to enhance our digital presence through engaging, high-quality content that builds brand awareness, promotes products and services, and keeps Medford Cooperative connected with the communities that it serves. This will be aligned with the overall business objectives and focus of Medford Cooperative. This role will have knowledge of graphical tools and create assets for online and offline marketing campaigns, and internal and external communications. Knowledge and Skill Requirements

·        Associate Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, or two years’ experience

·        Experience working in digital marketing and managing social media accounts for business

·        Experience in social media strategy and proficient in social media applications

·        Sound understanding of SEO practices and strategies as it aligns with various digital content

·        Experience in using tools such as WordPress, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, CRM and email marketing platforms, or other relative programs

·        A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box to develop new ideas

·        Excellent written and verbal communication, with an eye for detail

·        Effective collaboration and relationship-building

·        Excellent organizational, planning and decision-making skills

·        Ability to analyze problems and develop solutions

·        Ability to communicate positively and adapt to changing priorities and environments

·        Experience in photography and videography a plus

·        Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable
