Media Real Estate, A Media, PA-based Property Management Company is seeking a full-time Accountant to join our team! This person will join our Finance department. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with prior experience in accounting. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and invoicing.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and nonprofit financial reporting requirements.
- Process payroll and maintain accurate employee compensation records.
- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
- Support external audits by preparing the necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure financial accuracy and support strategic decision-making.
- Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline financial processes and reporting.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial information.
