Summary:

An independent New York-focused media planning and marketing solutions firm is seeking an experienced Account Director dedicated to developing customized plans that optimize our clients’ media investment, we generate exciting, innovative ad opportunities in a media landscape that is always shifting and evolving. We have a dynamic energy committed to the common goal of making a difference in people’s lives by delivering impactful campaign messaging in the most effective and efficient ways.


Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for building out campaign flowcharts and detailed media plans (considering target, audience size, available assets, goals, etc.) with reach/frequency analysis to support overarching recommendations
  • Responsible for presenting plans to client validated by available research (comScore, Simmons MRI, Census data, etc.) and securing necessary approvals
  • Responsible for overseeing implementation of campaigns with strategists and media directors across all channels including traditional (TV, Radio, OOH & Print) and digital media (Display, OLV, Streaming Audio, Social, Search, etc.)
  • Extensive digital media planning knowledge a must
  • Coordinate and run team planning and performance evaluation meetings
  • Ensure optimizations are implemented across media types and performance improves week over week
  • Report out to client and ensure all deliverables and deadlines are met including bi-weekly reports, ads dashboard, executive summary & recaps
  • Assist with trafficking, trading, reporting and billing, across all media channels as needed to ensure timeliness and accuracy
  • Read industry trades and stay updated on omni-channel marketing trends
  • Participate in vendor meetings; staying up to speed on all developments (new ad formats, targeting capabilities, et al.)
  • Help grow account scope in the form of additional budget, campaign volume, media types included, etc.


Qualifications:


  • Media planning and buying experience in addition to client services experience
  • Exceptional verbal/written communication
  • Strong mathematical and analytical acumen
  • Attention to detail
  • Research tools (Simmons MRI, comScore, Neilson, Social Explorer)
  • Google Analytics
  • Reporting dashboard (Datorama, Tableau, Google Data Studio)
  • Media Buying Platforms (i.e. Business Manager, CM, Google AdWords)
  • Ad Verification platforms (i.e. Double Verify, IAS)
  • Excel, PPT, Word, etc.

Companies also have other elements of compensation, including but not limited to, commission, bonus, equity, profit sharing, varying levels of healthcare coverage and how much a person would have to contribute to the premium, various perks like continuing education, commuter reimbursement, phone reimbursement, etc. – not included in “salary” as the law states. Thus, know that anything we note in a salary range does NOT include such other compensation elements. And, as recruiters, we don’t know what all of those elements are, as we are recruiting for a company, not for ourselves, and they do not brief us as to each benefit. We are a 3rd party and can only estimate to the best of our knowledge, and thus offer the minimum and maximum salary MRG in good faith believes at the time of the posting the client is willing to pay for the advertised job.


Qualified by all of the above, for this job with requisite/required years of the required experience and skills, the minimum and maximum salary is approximated at $100,000 and $115,000 respectfully, exclusive of commission, bonus, equity, profit sharing, any element of healthcare coverage, any reference to how much a person would have to contribute to the premium of a healthcare plan, any perks, or other forms of compensation. Fewer years of experience could bring the base salary lower, and more experience could bring the base salary higher, if the company is willing to increase their salary band.

Salary : $100,000 - $115,000
