The Clinical Communication Coordinator (CCC) is responsible for managing and optimizing communication channels, including patient and provider phone calls, messages, faxes, and medical records. This role ensures timely responses to patient messages, streamlines clinical workflows, and improves patient and provider communication. The CCC will assist in developing and implementing standardized systems to enhance efficiency while collaborating with office teams to support their communication needs. The ideal candidate has clinical experience, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving..
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and streamline communication channels including, but not limited to, patient and provider phone calls, messages, faxes, and medical records.
- Ensure physician inbox messages are addressed within 24 hours , triaging and obtaining responses as needed.
- Communicate effectively—both written and verbal—to efficiently manage patient concerns and document interactions accurately.
- Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of systems that optimize and standardize clinical communication processes.
- Collaborate with office teams to understand and support their clinical communication needs.
- Optimize pre- and post-procedure patient communication (both clinical and non-clinical).
- Manage and upload medical records, ensuring timely and accurate chart creation from referrals.
- Proactively set ambitious communication optimization goals and work with the team to achieve them.
