is seeking a Commercial Lines Sales Producer for its team in
West Palm Beach, Florida!
The Commercial Lines Producer will be responsible for selling and renewing property & casualty commercial insurance to businesses in our community and region. New sales are the focus of the position and cross-sales of existing clients are also encouraged.
How You Will Contribute : Maintain a pipeline of prospective accountsActively generates new leads through community activities, attending association meetings, and cold calling to obtain expiration dates and other information to turn leads into prospects and clientsWork within the procedures and goals of the agency to meet sales objectivesSubmit data on potential accounts and renewals to support teammates for processingAssists in the marketing of accounts, presents proposals to prospects and clientsContinually strives to provide value-added customer service to existing clientsHandles complex processing and claim situations with client and / or Profit Center teammatesDevelop new business accounts and retain existing accounts in accordance with the objectives and procedures outlined by the Profit Center LeaderResponsible for collection of all premiums, including audits made subsequent to policy issuance, on all new accounts producedMaintains production reports and attends sales meetings as requiredPromotes the agency and the insurance industry in the communityParticipates in company and agency sales contestsKeeps informed of industry developments through a review of the trade press and by attending company training meetings on new or revised productsPursues a program of personal and professional development
Licenses and Certifications : Florida 2-20 Insurance License (or willingness to obtain within 60 days of employment)
Skills & Experience to Be SuccessfulHigh School diploma or GEDProficient with MS Office SuiteExceptional telephone demeanorAbility to maintain a high level of confidentiality.Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafterMaintains minimum acceptable insurance coverages as outlined by the Driving For Business policy.
