CBIZ Talent & Compensation Solutions practice provides clients with compensation expertise to ensure compensation programs are competitive, fair and legally compliant. The Compensation practice is comprised of experts who will work with clients to design, implement and communicate employee and executive compensation and reward programs that drive organizational success.
CBIZ's Compensation practice is currently searching for an experienced compensation professional to join the team as a producer. The role is responsible for bringing new compensation consulting engagements to the practice, serving those clients throughout the project life cycle, and maintaining relationships thereafter.
Essential Functions and Primary DutiesAchieve annual new revenue objectives through consultative sales to new clients and expansion of service lines to existing clientsDevelop a Personal Development Plan annually outlining personal and professional goals for upcoming yearBuild an active pipeline of qualified prospects, generating leads from personal contacts, external centers of influence, client referrals, CBIZ associates, and CBIZ marketing sourcesDocument activity, notes, and prospect data in appropriate CBIZ systemsDevelop and present recommendations to clients based upon consultative selling approachAppropriately close for new business, documenting won and lost opportunities and reasonsManage overall client relationship while integrating client service team. Serve as client's valued advisor; building a strategic and personal relationship with key client decision makersAs appropriate, work with client service team to serve client and retain businessCommunicate with leadership, providing field input on market trends, competitor analysis, and other business intelligenceIdentify, initiate, and support cross serving leads to other CBIZ business developersAdditional responsibilities as assigned
Preferred QualificationsMaster's DegreeCSCP - Certified Sales Compensation ProfessionalCCP - Certified Compensation ProfessionalPrior experience in compensation consulting or appropriate professional and leadership experience
Minimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED equivalentSome relevant industry experienceMust obtain required licenses / credentialsSuperior command of verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation skillsProficient use of applicable technologyDemonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization, both internally and externallyMust be able to travel based on client and business needs
