Position Summary


Copywriters execute the written creative and marketing strategy for assigned projects. Daily responsibilities include working with an Art Director to generate and execute creative concepts from inception through finished product.


Responsibilities


  • Work collaboratively with creative partner
  • Develop smart, single-minded ideas that are on strategy
  • Present and sell concepts to leadership and clients
  • Responsible for original concepts with clear, concise and convincing writing and for grammatical and material accuracy
  • Collaborate and communicate with team members at all times regarding deadlines, revisions, quality control and new work
  • Conduct thorough research on industry trends, target audiences, and competitors to inform creative concepts and ensure the development of relevant, impactful copy
  • Translate a strategic brief into compelling sales copy
  • Report to Group Creative Director


Desired Skills & Experience


  • 1 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in English or Advertising preferred
  • Strong written, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Familiar with MAC software and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Can work well under pressure
  • Highly motivated and well organized
  • Healthy appreciation for social media and pop culture
  • Can see other people's point of view, accept and address feedback

The salary range for this position is posted below. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee’s/applicant’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.
