Role Description: Digital Sales Coordinator
Position Overview: The Digital Sales Coordinator (DSC) is responsible for supporting the digital sales team in developing, executing, and managing advertising campaigns for clients. This role plays a critical part in pre-sales planning, proposal creation, campaign tracking, and post-campaign analysis. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, ensuring smooth execution of campaigns while supporting revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Planning & Proposal Development
- Create and customize media plans and proposals based on client objectives, using available inventory, pricing, and targeting strategies.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to understand client goals, recommend advertising solutions, and prepare pitch materials.
- Use sales tools and platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Google Ad Manager) to generate and deliver timely RFP responses.
- Identify inventory availability and ensure alignment with campaign objectives and pricing strategy.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (ad operations, marketing, finance) to ensure campaign feasibility and alignment with company goals.
- Campaign Execution & Management
- Facilitate campaign setup, including tracking implementation, ad tag testing, and creative approvals.
- Act as a point of contact for campaign issues, addressing client questions and coordinating with internal teams to resolve any discrepancies.
- Ensure all creative assets are delivered on time and meet platform specifications.
- Work with trafficking teams to ensure campaigns launch on time and meet client performance benchmarks.
- Performance Tracking & Optimization
- Monitor campaign performance on an ongoing basis, making recommendations to optimize delivery, pacing, and performance.
- Provide real-time updates to clients and internal stakeholders on campaign status and key performance metrics (KPIs).
- Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance metrics, including impressions, click-through rates (CTR), and conversions.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations for ongoing and future campaigns.
- Post-Campaign Analysis & Reporting
- Compile and deliver post-campaign analysis (PCA) reports, outlining campaign performance, ROI, and client insights.
- Review campaign delivery to ensure all contractual obligations are met (impressions, clicks, etc.).
- Collaborate with the sales and client services teams to analyze campaign outcomes and support renewals or upsells.
- Industry Knowledge & Product Expertise
- Stay current on industry trends, digital media tools, and advertising products (programmatic, OTT, CTV, display, social, etc.).
- Provide input on new ad formats, tools, and technologies that could enhance the company's advertising capabilities.
- Assist in the development and improvement of internal planning tools and templates.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
- 1 year(s) of experience in digital media planning, sales planning, or related roles.
- Proficiency with CRM, media planning, and ad trafficking tools (Salesforce, Google Ad Manager, Mediaocean, etc.).
- Strong understanding of digital advertising concepts (OTT, programmatic, display, video, and social media).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Skills & Competencies:
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Ability to analyze performance metrics and draw meaningful insights.
- Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external clients.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in proposals, plans, and reporting.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with ad operations platforms (Google Ad Manager, The Trade Desk) and sales planning tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with OTT, CTV, programmatic, and video advertising.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics, DSPs (The Trade Desk, Xandr), and ad tracking technologies.
- Certifications in digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, IAB Digital Media Sales, etc.).
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be willing to work in New York, NY [No Relocations]
- Must be willing to work long hours, holidays and weekends on short notice.
- Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Must be 18 years or older.
