What are the responsibilities and job description for the Communication Systems Engineer position at Mediacom Communications?
We're looking for an experienced Broadband Specialist III or someone with 5 years' equivalent cable technician experience. Knowledge of all Broadband Specialist I-III responsibilities, basic commercial installs, business phone and service calls along with Digital Home is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform field technical work, including climbing poles with proper equipment (safety belt, safety strap and climbers), ladders or other structures as needed.
- Prepare estimates for projects, providing bill of materials.
- Splice coax & fiber.
