We are looking for a talented Social Media Content Creator and Strategist to maintain and expand our online presence, engage our community, and reflect our brand values across social media platforms.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a creative, experienced Freelance Social Media Content Creator and Strategist. Prior experience in the medical aesthetics, healthcare, or beauty industry is ideal. In this role, you will be responsible for creating bespoke social media content that focuses on our services, our staff, and education in the aesthetics space. You will also be responsible for creating and implementing a social media strategy that prioritizes growth, conversion, and brand recognition, with guidance from our Communications Director. You must be comfortable working both independently and with direction. This is a hands-on role requiring travel between our five office locations spanning Connecticut and New York on a schedule that aligns with our full team, as needed. Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Strategy
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the practice’s brand, mission, and marketing goals.
- Create engaging, high-quality bespoke content for Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant platforms, including photos, videos, reels, graphics, and stories.
- Capture behind-the-scenes footage, educational content, treatment details, client stories, before-and-after visuals, staff introductions, and promotional content.
- Create a digital collection of raw content that is accessible and used as needed.
- Ensure all content and messaging remains consistent across all platforms in our established brand voice.
Social Media Management & Analytics
- Manage social media content calendars and posting schedules to maintain consistent brand presence across platforms.
- Analyze and report on social media performance metrics, adjusting strategy as needed to maximize engagement and growth.
- Engage with followers and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely, professional, and on-brand manner.
Client & Staff Collaboration
- Coordinate with staff to schedule and plan content creation, ensuring that it aligns with business needs and is an effective use of our client facing staff’s time.
- Coordinate with staff to plan and capture content that may require client involvement.
- Collaborate with upper management and office staff to generate fresh content ideas, incorporating their feedback and creative input.
Requirements:
Experience
- Proven experience as a Social Media Content Creator and Strategist, ideally in the medical aesthetics, beauty, or healthcare industry.
- Strong portfolio showcasing social media content across multiple platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
- Experience working with diverse teams to create collaborative content and strategies.
Skills
- Strong visual and creative eye with a good understanding of photography, videography, and editing (experience with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
- Ability to craft compelling copy and captions that resonate with diverse audiences in our established brand voice.
- Deep knowledge of current social media trends, tools, and best practices.
Other
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work both independently and closely with staff.
- Must be comfortable with the required travel.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
