What are the responsibilities and job description for the PRN Nursing Faculty position at Medical Career and Technical College?
Medical Career & Technical College seeks a PRN faculty member who is passionate about helping practical nursing students achieve clinical laboratory skills both on and off campus. The facility member will be responsible, under the direction or of the Program Administrator, for working one-on-one with each practical nursing student to assess clinical nursing skills.
Under the general supervision of the Program Administrator, the PRN faculty member would facilitate and enhance clinical practice and professional development for practical nursing students.
The PRN faculty member will also assist instructors with one-on-one education assistance to practical nursing students in preparation for the NCLEX examination.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee skills lab, including but not limited to, verify proficiency in skills and remediate skills, setting up lab experiences for skills assessments, and inventory of lab equipment.
- Manage students during clinical experiences in a variety of settings.
- Participate in student preparation to begin nursing core classes.
