Position Summary: Performs ultrasound scans using real-time high frequency ultrasonic waves and high technology equipment, stays current on this technology and ensures that quality patient care is provided. The position involves carefully giving the patient proper instruction, reassurance, and respect. The employee must demonstrate acceptable sonography skills and the judgment and ability to work independently, along with being assigned other responsibilities as they apply to the clinical area.
Job Qualifications
· Education: Must be a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).
· Experience: Minimum one year experience as an Ultrasound Technologist is preferred. Experience in a clinical setting is required.
