Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound technology to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as excellent patient care skills to ensure a comfortable experience for all individuals undergoing ultrasound examinations.
Duties
- Conduct ultrasound examinations on patients, ensuring high-quality images are obtained for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns they may have.
- Utilize appropriate aseptic techniques during procedures to maintain a sterile environment.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret ultrasound results and provide relevant information for patient care.
- Maintain accurate records of patient examinations, including medical history and imaging results, using medical terminology effectively.
- Stay updated on advancements in sonography and medical imaging techniques to enhance skills and improve patient outcomes.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated, reporting any issues promptly.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $48.74 - $53.11 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
