Registered Nurse Pre Admission Testing-PACU
Provides education, planning and support regarding patient specific plan of care. This person serves as a first point of contact for care at the Heart and Spine hospital which includes but is not limited to education regarding their care and/or procedural services plan. Follows through on patients’ needs through coordination of services during PAT.
RN Registered Nurse PAT - Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for coordinating registration for any patient requiring pre-admission testing.
- Coordination of pre-surgery testing of patients for outpatient surgery and same day surgery.
- Exhibit the HCA Standards of Excellence and exercises strict confidentiality at all times.
- Assumes all other duties and responsibilities as necessary
- Provide assistance as need in a RN Day Surgery capacity,

License/Certification Requirements:
BSN Required
Current licensure as an RN in TX or Compact license is required.
Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider.
Experience Requirement:
Minimum 2 years hospital Nursing experience required.
Experience working in an Acute Care PreOp or PACU environment are required for this position.
