We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Respiratory Therapy Education Specialist to join our team at Medical City Dallas. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and education to our staff.
About the Role:
This is a night shift position that requires the following responsibilities:
- Coodinates and/or performs a variety of staff development functions, including department-specific needs assessment, goal setting, implementation methods, evaluation measures, and instruction of education activities.
- Provides education support for staff, with an emphasis on assigned service line development.
- Interprets guidelines for continuing respiratory education based on professional practice guidelines.
- Collaborates with Education to identify needs and plan education activities to enhance professional growth.
- Recognizes the role of the Clinical Educator in internship development and process improvement, as assigned.
- Limited committee and special projects, when appropriate.
- Acts as a role model for high-quality clinical skills.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required; MS preferred.
- Graduated from an accredited school for respiratory care recognized by NBRC.
- One or more years as a Respiratory Educator or extended history of initiative in education projects/programs.
- Licensed by the Texas Department of Health as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
