Under the supervision of the Director of Quality Management and/or Director of Quality Management, the Quality Coordinator manages the processes, and projects which support Quality Management and overall organization-wide outcomes to include ongoing continuous performance improvement, evaluation of data abstraction and information, assist with regulatory compliance activities, provide education and leadership, serve as a resource and guide to identify current concepts and evaluates their usefulness in improving patient outcomes, safety and quality improvement. Assist in coordination of monthly/quarterly/annual reporting/presentations for CV Outcomes. Assist in educating departments in CV quality metrics. What qualifications you will need:
Bachelor’s Degree/BSN strongly preferred.
Broad knowledge and familiarity with healthcare-related regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in quality, patient safety, risk, infection control desired
Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Joint Commission accreditation standards and survey methodology, CMS regulations, and other Federal and State regulations related to healthcare quality management.
Knowledge of regulatory standards, health information systems, quality and database management preferred. Recent clinical, operational or data quality management experience preferred.
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) desired.
Clear and active license to practice as a RN in Texas required.
Medical City Fort Worth is a 350 bed full-service Magnet Designated hospital. It is located in the heart of the medical district. Medical City Fort Worth serves as a tertiary referral center for Tarrant County and many counties within a 90 mile radius. We offer comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services. Our specialties include cardiac care, neurosciences and oncology. We have surgical services, orthopedics, kidney transplants and emergency care. We offer three ER locations, including two off campus ER located in Burleson and White Settlement. Medical City Fort Worth is a designated comprehensive stroke center. We are a Joint Commission chest pain center. We are a part of the Medical City network of hospitals. Patients are ensured access to medical experts and advanced healthcare innovations across the network.
