Job Summary And Qualifications

• This is a PRN position Day shift, Monday - Friday. Hours are typically 8:00am - 5:00pm *
  
  

As an RN CV Services Noninvasive PRN, you will perform direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act with emphasis on pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients with cardiovascular diagnosis.

What You Will Do In This Role:

• Provide conscious sedation to patients undergoing diagnostic procedures (following competency verification)
• Monitor and intervene for patient during non-invasive studies, including trans-esophageal echocardiograms, bubble studies and cardiac sonography
• Respond to emergencies in the non-invasive cardiology labs
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

What Is Required:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. If hired after 6/1/12, must obtain BSN within 24 months of hire into RN position
• Current RN license in the State of TX or compact license
• Current BLS issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• Current ACLS issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• 1 year experience in telemetry nursing
• Knowledge of basic rhythm interpretation skills, with emphasis on rhythms with the potential to alter the patient's hemodynamics
• Monitoring for alterations in oxygenation/ventilation

It provides spine care for common spine disorders. Spine care is also provided for rare, hard-to-treat spinal deformities. Those include adult and pediatric scoliosis and spondylolistheses. We offer complex spine surgery and minimally invasive surgical options.
