Glenburnie Rehab & Nursing Center is seeking a Staff Development RN to join our team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Directs the orientation program for all new employees and schedules ongoing coordinated education in-services.
- Evaluates resident care practices throughout the facility and identifies instructional needs.
- Designs educational programs commensurate with needs.
- Documents all programming as required by state standards and maintains a reference library.
- Provides specialized training needs in all departments on request of Department Heads.
- Notifies Department Heads about scheduling of required staff education, immunizations and additional department education.
- Administers and records licensed staff competencies.
- Maintains staff immunization records
- Performs other related duties as assigned or as necessary. Remains flexible and adaptable in work schedules and work assignments as defined by departmental and facility needs.
