Oculus Health is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated

full-time   Staff Development Nurse (RN)  for  immediate  placement in our facility at  Colonial Heights, VA !

Rate :  $45 / hour

Work Schedule :  Monday to Friday, 8 : 30am - 4 : 30pm / 5 : 00pm

    • Qualifications of a Staff Development Nurse (RN) :

  • RN Certification
  • Virginia State RN License
  • CPR / BLS
  • Excellent coaching and mentoring skills
  • Ability to combine clinical expertise with teaching & leadership skills to foster a culture of continuous improvement in the healthcare settings

    • Responsibilities of a Staff Development Nurse (RN) :

  • Assist & monitor nursing staff in their development of skills & competencies
  • Identify learning needs & develop and / or facilitate the delivery of education as needed to ensure Best Practice delivery of care
  • Design, implement, & evaluate educational programs for nursing staff
  • Evaluate staff competencies to ensure they meet the facility's standards & regulatory requirements
  • Ensure nursing staff understands & adheres to organizational policies, procedures, & best practices
  • Collaborate with management it identify & address staff development needs

    • Requirements to Apply :

  • Updated resume
  • Valid ID (either Driver's license, Passport, Permanent Resident Card or work eligibility IDs)
  • Social Security card
  • State RN License
  • CPR / BLS
  • Voided Check / Direct Deposit from the bank – for payroll
  • 2 Reference Letters / References to call
  • TB Test (PPD / QuantiFERON) – at least within the last 12 months
  • Covid Vaccination Card or Proof of exemption
