This state-of-the-art teaching hospital will offer 136 beds (expandable to 184), a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health services, an ambulatory pavilion, a 500-car garage, and a helipad for emergency transports.
Position Overview
The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates, an independent, non-profit academic clinical practice group is seeking a full-time Infectious Disease specialist to join the hospital service team at Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center.
This non-tenure track appointment will be made at a rank (Clinical Instructor/Clinical Assistant/Clinical Associate/Clinical Professor) commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Providing excellent patient care to hospitalized patients and consultations for outpatients;
- Teaching residents and medical students; and
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
Basic Qualifications
- Applicants must be board-certified in Internal Medicine.
- Valid medical license in the District of Columbia by the time of appointment.
