Key Responsibilities
- Diagnostic Imaging : Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures following established protocols, ensuring high-quality results and patient safety.
- Patient Care : Provide compassionate care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
- Equipment Operation : Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring it is functioning correctly and reporting any issues to management promptly.
- Radiation Safety : Adhere to radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients, staff, and yourself.
- Image Quality : Optimize imaging parameters and techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic images for accurate interpretations.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate and complete patient records, imaging reports, and other relevant documentation.
- Collaboration : Work closely with radiologists, nurses, and physicians to ensure timely and accurate diagnosis through high-quality imaging.
- Continuing Education : Stay updated with the latest advancements in CT and X-ray technology and techniques through ongoing education and training.
Qualifications
Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in both CT and X-ray
Previous experience in performing both CT and X-ray imaging procedures
