Overview: The QEEG Technician is a trained technical professional that will support the Physician and team by collecting patient QEEG/EEG activity to help advance the understanding and treatment of neurological disorders.
Role and Responsibilities:
Prep patient rooms
Clean and maintain neurofeedback equipment and treatment areas between patients.
Inventory and supply management
Educate patients on the benefits of brain mapping and neurofeedback.
Communicate effectively with co-workers, admin, and providers with regards to patients’ schedules and treatment, or with regards to treatment, patient care issues, safety concerns or other relevant information.
Administer neuropsychological assessments.
Collect pertinent patient history and provide surveys to measure subjective changes in mood, anxiety, attention, etc.
Execute, monitor, and adjust neurofeedback treatment plans.
Integrate neuro and biofeedback treatment modalities with other areas of patient treatment.
Acquire and submit quantitative EEG data according to the schedule, daily.
Create condensed QEEG reports as needed.
Create comparison reports for patients pre/post treatments.
Complete all charting according to schedule and quality guidelines.
Maintain patient confidentiality, HIPAA Compliant
Provide excellent patient care through implementation of the Treat to Outcome
Regularly participate in patient activities and help patients process in the moment.
May be asked to help call patients to ensure brain mapping and neurofeedback schedule are full.
Demonstrate a high level of flexibility to meet patient needs.
Demonstrate a commitment to the vision, mission, and values of the company. Patient always comes first!
Attend Neurofeedback Brain Zen Pro training and ongoing training , or willingness to learn all materials Brain Zen Pro certification employment
Work with MIT Training Team and other appropriate departments as needed to assist in mentoring and advancing the skill set of staff in the delivery of patient care.

Experience, and/or a bachelor’s degree preferred, but willing to train the right person.
Physical Qualifications:
Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time, reach above and below shoulder
height, and have the ability to kneel.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Must have a very outgoing personality and interaction with patients is a must! A smile goes along way!! This is non- negotiable.
Applicants must be 18 years or older.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation and be willing to travel as needed.

Demonstrate an understanding and willingness to learn more about: Neurophysiology, anatomy, effects of nutrition on the brain, EEG brain waves, QEEG brain mapping equipment, neurofeedback equipment, neurofeedback brain training, and other biofeedback training
