Quality Inspector I
The Quality Inspector I is responsible for inspecting components and products to ensure they meet internal and customer specifications. This role supports quality objectives by verifying physical attributes, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with established standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow quality system SOPs and inspection procedures.
- Inspect incoming materials to confirm they meet purchase order requirements.
- Perform in-process and final product audits, including first article inspections.
- Accurately complete Lot History Records (LHRs) and maintain quality documentation.
- Identify and report defects to supervisors, engineers, or production leads.
- Conduct lot release testing and line clearance audits as needed.
- Work in cleanroom environments while adhering to cleanliness and safety protocols.
- Maintain organization of inspection areas and tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-5 years of inspection experience (medical device experience preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience with metrology tools (calipers, micrometers, microscopes, vision systems).
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and defect awareness.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Adobe PDF.
- Comfortable working under a microscope and in controlled environments.
- Overtime may be required.
Salary : $19 - $27
