About the role :
The individual works in a customer service capacity, assisting policyholders and producers with questions related to policy coverage, forms, and premium. The Customer Service Representative has underwriting authority as assigned by the Vice President of Underwriting
Essential Functions :
- Knowledge of Company management system, company website, forms, rules, rates, and procedures
- Respond to phone calls, emails, and faxes from policyholders and producers, or forward the requests to other departments as appropriate
- Communicate / interact with other departments as required (e.g., Accounting, Marketing, Risk Management, etc.)
- Reset website passwords for policyholders and producers
- Provide support to Underwriters as needed

The salary range for this position is $40,000-$56,000 annually depending on qualifications and experience. This position may be eligible for an annual bonus depending on performance.
This is a full-time position based out of our Hunt Valley, Maryland office, with a hybrid work schedule. Medical Mutual’s hours of operation are 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm, Monday through Friday.
