Urgent need for Pediatric Critical Care Nurse Practitioner for New York, NY
JOB INFORMATION:
•Vaccination Requirement: Flu and Covid booster
•Specialty: Pediatric Critical Care Nurse Practitioner
Dates of Coverage:13 weeks with possibility to extend
Practice Description:
- Setting: pediatric critical care unit - caring for patients post cardiac surgery, ECMO, and cardiac transplant
- Daily Responsibilities: provider role (assessment, critical care planning, prescriptive orders, care coordination, emergency management, Epic documentation)
- Shifts/Schedule Expectations: Need 6-13 shifts per month, schedule is 12 hours (7am -7:30pm and 7pm -7:30 am) (weekdays, weekends, day and night shifts), 30 min lunch break deduction per shift. Must be available to work one weekend per month and flexiable to work nights.
- Call Schedule/Responsibilities: no
- PPD/Census: 14 bed critical care unit
- Number of Providers Per Shift & Support Staff: 2 NPs on days and nights.
- Procedures Required/Preferred: n/a
- EMR: Epic
- Rate Structure: This needs to include all rates: (Please be specific on call rate structure is it a true 24 hour call shift w/without gratis OR daily rate night call Call back)
Certifications required/accepted: National NP Board certification required, BCLS, PALS, NYS RN and NP license, Will accept an FNP with Pediatric CC background.
Must Have NY active state license.
