General: Works collaboratively with the Director of Partnerships to grow and strengthen partnerships with health system and payer networks. The Account Manager of Partnerships will do this by having regular and consistent communication to assess the needs of current and potential partners in order to develop and execute a partnership strategy as part of a collaborative team.

Reports To: Regional Sales Manager or Director, Partnerships

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Works with Director of Partnerships to introduce key product categories, programs, and initiatives to partners
  • Works with stakeholders at partnerships to sell and implement these strategies
  • Meets regularly with hospital staff who directly refer home medical equipment or influence the referral of home medical equipment to understand their needs and opportunities
  • Collaborates with the VP of business development to create product expansion strategies based on partnership needs
  • Provides on site support for new program launches within health system partner facilities
  • Works with Health System to understand key System-wide initiatives, pain points, and bottle necks impacting patient care
  • Works closely with MSC’s Operations and Clinical teams to leverage MSC capabilities in concert with Health System & payer initiatives and MSC’s
  • Supports the Director of Partnerships in regular meetings with senior leaders for health system partners
  • Collaborates with the Director of Partnerships and the Business Development Team to trend health system & payer referral activity positive and negative and involve key MSC team members when necessary to support growth
  • Collaborates with the Director of Partnerships to strategically assess, develop, and implement action plans to align Company with key payers
  • Manages all accounts within the defined territory and responsible for growth in these accounts
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education: 4-year Undergraduate Degree. Business, Sales or Operations focus, preferred
Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Physical Requirements:
  • Two (2) year (minimum) of progressively responsible Account Management experience.
  • Customer oriented with good oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills (a team player).
  • Normal office/clerical motor skills in addition to extensive automobile and telephone usage.
