Job Description
MSA Home Health & Hospice, a proud member of the Medical Services of America family is currently seeking an experienced Part-Time/PRN Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team for our Home Health & Hospice location in Abingdon, VA.
- Provides occupational therapy services to patients under appropriate guidelines and in accordance with the plan of treatment developed by the OT.
- Assists the physician in implementing and conducting treatment as outlined in treatment plan.
- Monitor patient's response to treatment and modify treatment as indicated in accordance with the plan of care and reports to the physician or client care manager.
- Develops, prepares and maintains individualized client care progress records with accuracy, timeliness and according to policies.
- Assists with interpreting and communicating evaluation findings to patients, family and other staff members.
- Valid COTA license in the state of VA.
- Valid Driver's License
- Minimum of one-year verifiable occupational therapy experience
- Home Health experience preferred.
