Social Worker - Permanent Position

Position is only 24 hours / week.

Shift is 5p-130a, weekends required.

Hourly rate, based on experience: $44-70/hr

Requirements

• Must have a Master's degree in psychology, social work, or other counseling related field.
• CPI required within 60 in days of employment
• BLS required within 30 days of employment.
• 2 years previous experience in the health care or social service field required, psychiatric hospital experience preferred.
• Must be available to work flexible hours and days of the week including weekends and evenings.

Summary

Staff Clinician I utilizes therapeutic skills to assess the psychosocial functioning and provide intervention strategies to alleviate these needs by providing individual, group, marital and/or family therapy. Participates in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and provides educational seminars and in-service training that may be beneficial and/or required.

Education

Must have a Master's degree in psychology, social work, or other counseling related field.

Licensure/Certification

CPI required within 60 in days of employment. CPR required within 30 days of employment. Licensure/certification is not required but the employee is strongly encouraged to be working toward full licensure and/or certification in a related mental health field.

Experience

2 years in the health care or social service field, psychiatric hospital experience preferred.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $56,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 24 per week
