Sr. Project Associate (Lead Sr. Associate)

Job Description – Sr. Project Associate [Lead Sr. Associate] 

The Sr. Project Associate will support our managed care and population health programs. The Sr. Project Associate will serve as a key support with organizing, managing, and planning projects and implementation efforts.  In this role, the Sr. Project Associate will work closely with the Program Director(s) and Executive Leads to oversee program management. This position directly reports to the Director of Care Transformation and Analytics. 

RESPONSIBILITIES & COMPETENCIES 

• Responsible for support with managing key projects/programs, working closely with the Program Director 

• Maintain project documents, including the project plan, project schedule, project charter, and project scope, maintaining meeting summaries 

• Execute certain aspects of the Project tasks and Program activities & also Follow-up with tasks owners as needed. Also support the Program Director in facilitating meetings as needed 

• Coordinate and manage external and internal communications and resources to maintain quality service delivery 

• Maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders 

• Review annual compliance document and provide summary on changes 

• Assist with the development and delivery of program compliance & operations training  

• Prepare program arrangement/agreement documents 

• Attend training/webinars as needed 

• Support with Quality Improvement efforts & Change Management 

• Support with Data Analytics process by working closely with the Lead Data Analyst to prepare data files & analyze data   

• Prepare program summary and executive reports for leadership review 

• Participate in Internal Management firm-wide development planning 

• Other duties as assigned 

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Bachelor’s degree in  business administration, public health, or management; Masters preferred  

• Experience in healthcare industry required 

• At least 1 year of project management or related experience 

• Project Management certification preferred, or in training to improve Project Management knowledge  

• Lean Sigma certification preferred (or in training to improve Lean Sigma knowledge) -  

• Excellent organizational, prioritization, and interpersonal skills 

• Written and verbal communication skills  

• Capacity to manage high stress situations 

• Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously 

• Leadership skills 

• Big-picture thinking and vision 

• Attention to detail 

• Conflict resolution skills 

• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices 

• Intermediate to Advanced technical skill in:  Microsoft office suite: Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Databases, and knowledge of EMRs, Project management application (e.g. Microsoft project, Smart sheet etc.) 

• Must be able to Telework from Home Based Office when needed. Must have high-speed Internet connection and using tools to communicate (verbally & written) remotely
