Job Summary :
To ensure the principles of good management which dictate that all contracts are administered in a way that ensures sound management and fiscal practice to manage risk and to control the quality of the services purchased and provided on behalf of Erlanger Health System and its patients. Responsible for the development of Requests for Proposal and Bids, conducting contract negotiations, in addition to awards, administration, and preparation of price / cost analysis. Conducts vendor negotiations regarding contract exceptions and identifying potential liability or unfavorable terms which might otherwise negatively affect EHS. Responsible for ensuring that standard methodologies and applicable federal, state and local mandates are represented in contract management, analysis and reporting are consistently followed as established in Procurement Business Processes.
Education : Required :
Associate's Degree or 5 years equivalent experience
Preferred : Bachelor's Degree
Experience : Required :
5 Years Progressive Healthcare contracts negotiation or 10 years of non healthcare supervisory experience
Preferred : Bachelor's Degree
Position Requirement(s) : License / Certification / Registration
Required :
Preferred : CMRP, Proficient use of Excel, Word, Power Point, PeopleSoft ERP
