Job Summary
The UPS Store #8071 in Rome, GA is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our growing team. As a key member of our front-line staff, you’ll assist customers with shipping, printing, and packaging services while promoting store products in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, friendly, and enjoys helping customers while contributing to the overall success of the store. Full-time and part-time positions available. Weekend availability (Saturday & Sunday) is required.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with professionalism and a positive attitude
- Process transactions using the POS system and handle payments accurately
- Provide product and service recommendations to meet customer needs
- Engage in upselling and cross-selling of shipping, printing, and packaging solutions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked store environment
- Assist with printing, copying, scanning, and mailbox services
- Handle customer inquiries and phone calls with excellent etiquette
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily sales and service goals
- Support junior staff and contribute to a positive team atmosphere
- Follow The UPS Store procedures and brand standards
Experience
- Prior experience in retail, shipping, printing, or customer service preferred but not required
- UPS Store or similar experience is a plus

- Familiarity with basic retail math and POS systems
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with customers
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and a team player
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
