If you want to build a rewarding career that makes lives better on a daily basis, Medifast may be the perfect place for you.Overview of PositionThe Business Analyst will be focused on Oracle Financials and will be part of the Oracle ERP team, responsible for understanding business requirements, building functional specifications, building reports, configuring Oracle Financial systems for business needs, understanding accounting implications, deploying and supporting Oracle financials modules, writing test scenarios, and performing quarterly update testing.II. Job ResponsibilitiesSupport the Oracle Fusion Financial Cloud including General Ledger, Accounts Payable (IDR), Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management during month end, quarter end and year end.Triage issues and engage team members in providing solutions during critical moments like month ends.Manage incidents / cases in Jira and provide updates and solutions to Business team members with emphasis on accuracy and completeness.Act as the IT liaison to the Business Team, requiring good oral and written communication skills.Be proactive and understand severity of cases, keeping stakeholders updated on sensitive issues.Log Service Requests with Oracle Support and follow up to closure.Support the proactive closing process and make enhancements to improve the business.Understand the integration with Concur (our expense recording system) and resolve any issues.Perform Unit Testing, Integrated Testing, and oversee User Acceptance Testing for all configuration changes.Provide thorough documentation, including Statement of Procedures, Change Configuration documents, Playbooks, and Presentations for Proof of Concepts.III. ScopeThis is an individual contributor role supporting our Enterprise Applications team and our Finance and Accounting teams cross-functionally.IV. Knowledge, Education, Skills & AbilitiesBachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems or Information Technology, or a Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 3 years of Information Technology experience.Hands-on 2 years of experience in Oracle Fusion Financial Cloud including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Inter-company transactions.Ability to build FRS and OTBI reports.Ability to learn quickly, be organized, and detail-oriented.Ability to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, and changes.Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.Ability to negotiate, influence, and provide guidance in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.Nice to Have : Experience with SCM modules, Cost Management, and Receipt Accounting.Experience in Accounting and Finance.At Medifast, Relationships Are At The Center Of What We Do!We thrive by elevating our connections with one another as well as with our Coaches & Clients.
