Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patient data to identify treatment interventions and determine the proper therapeutic approach or referral to specialists.
- Provide crisis management, short-term solution-focused therapy, and initiate interdisciplinary treatment plans.
- Consult with mental health practitioners, healthcare staff, and correctional professionals as needed.
- Document patient activities and progress.
- Participate in reviewing clinical issues and program policies and procedures.
- Follow established policies, federal, state, and local guidelines, quality improvement, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
- Respond to requests from correctional staff and MEDIKO staff according to facility guidelines.
Requirements
A Licensed Mental Health Professional (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, etc.) with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care.
