The Medina Civil Service Commission is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Repair Technician to join our team. As a Mechanical Systems Engineer, you will perform repair and maintenance of all types of equipment used in municipal services, including heavy or light trucks, heavy equipment, machinery, automobiles, and various other engine-powered equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities as a Public Works Maintenance Supervisor will include:
- Maintaining and operating all types of equipment used in municipal services
- Diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues
- Supervising a team of skilled technicians
- Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A valid CDL issued by the State of Ohio with airbrake endorsement
- Experience with the operation and repair of air brake systems and hydraulic systems
- Strong mechanical abilities and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
The passing grade for the written examination is 70% or above.
