Accounts Payable Manager processes all building accounts payables and purchase orders, including all opens for program club and rotary accounts and other information pertinent to the Treasurer. To professionally, courteously, and respectfully treat all contacts with customers of the Treasurer's Office, including the public, other government agencies, the business community, fellow employees, and any other customers, both in person, when answering incoming phone calls, emails, letters, and any other form of contact, and to project customer-friendly attitude.

SALARY: Appropriate placement on the Classified Salary Schedule, commensurate with experience and education, ranging from $48,131.00-$69,264.00 annually.
REPORTS TO: Treasurer or Designee

WORK-WEEK/YEAR: 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM ~ 40 hours a week ~ 260 days a year (12 months)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, frequently using Word and Excel with a particular focus on reporting and advanced formulas with the ability to create and maintain several databases. Knowledge of accounting. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Proven capability to prepare correspondence to all stakeholders. Ability to operate various office machines. A motivated self-starter with strong time-management abilities. Able to work quickly and independently, handling multiple projects at one time and meeting deadlines. Demonstrated ability to problem solve. Professional tact, diplomacy, and presentation with staff and stakeholders. Record of excellent attendance. Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with administrators, staff, students, parents, associates, vendors, and community members.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of career technical education. General knowledge of the functions and activities of the state-supported public school system (USAS-ReDesign) and Strategic Solutions (SC View). Two years of accounting or similar bookkeeping experience.
