What you will be doing:
Leading From The Front – Working together with a seasoned F&B leadership team to provide incredible service for our membership. Experiencing top-notch training and support.
The Best Of Both Worlds – In keeping with our dynamic, year-round Food and Beverage operation, this exciting position will feature a lead role in running our high-volume pool restaurant service team during the summer, and our high-end member dining outlet in the main clubhouse the rest of the year.
Building Synergies and Motivating The People – Looking for opportunities each day to bring people together with the common goal of taking care of our members, taking care of each other, and having a whole lot of fun while doing it!
Key Communicator – Clear and consistent communication is one of the major keys to success. Being visible and present with members and employees to ensure that all needs are being met. Our relationships with our team members are as important as our relationships with our membership, and therefore your people skills are one of your biggest assets!
Key Duties:
Assist in daily operational oversight of Member Dining for Mecca, Oasis, and Fireside restaurants.
Maintain standard operating procedures and processes across three dynamic restaurants representative of Medinah’s 30th ranking in the world per Platinum Clubs of the World. Have a passion and aptitude for learning, teaching, and training.
Assist in conducting and/or overseeing training programs for food service personnel on par with four-to-five-star service. Training themes include service technique, knowledge of menu items and daily specials, sanitation and hygiene, special dietary requests, team building and conflict resolution; regularly test and evaluate knowledge and understanding of these expectations.
Have a strong and highly visible and respectful presence with the membership, be an exceptional communicator, have strong interpersonal skills, and the maturity to instinctively know how to treat members and guests with a high-level of service. He or she must be able to communicate these expectations to a staff with diverse backgrounds and motivate them positively to understand and execute to meet expectations.
Compensation and Benefits:
Base pay starting at $60,000
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
