The Medical Records Clerk role involves managing patient records in the EMR system with a focus on accuracy, accessibility, and confidentiality. Assist patients and staff with forms, records, and communication. Retrieve and process records for appointments or release requests while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and institutional policies.
Pay Rate : $22.00 - $24.00 / hr. DOE
Hours : Monday - Friday / 8 : 00AM - 5 : 00PM
City : Los Angeles, CA (Hollywood)
Job Duties for Medical Records Clerk :
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Records experience
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required
- Familiarity with EMR systems and MS Office software
- Knowledge of medical terminology and records management software
- High School diploma. Certificate in Health Information Management preferred
