A Non-Profit Hospital in Orange County, with over 1,700 Physicians, 100 Allied Health Members, and 6,500 employees, is in searching for a Patient Scheduling Specialist to work with their Radiology team.
The Patient Schedule Specialist will be responsible for answering phone calls and scheduling patient appointments. Triages phone calls as necessary. May conduct patient / member pre-certification to ensure coverage for appointments and medical care.
Pay Rate : $25.00 / hr.
Shift : Monday – Friday / 8 : 30AM – 5 : 00PM
Location : Costa Mesa, CA
Patient Scheduling Specialist Job Requirements :
- 2 years of experience in radiology diagnostic scheduling
- Hands on experience scheduling mammograms, DEXA scans , X-rays, ultrasounds, CTs, MRIs, and nuclear medicine
- Knowledge of health insurance verification
- Proficiency in EMR systems; EPIC experience is preferred
