Assistant Director of Revenue Cycle 236621

The Assistant Director of Revenue Cycle provides vision, strategic direction and leadership for end-to-end revenue cycle capabilities that support the long-term objectives, mission and vision of the organization. Responsibilities include implementing the current structural plan and developing an excellent team capable of innovating and continuously improving processes, integration and a customer-friendly financial experience.

Duties :

• Ensure productivity of revenue cycle department teams with updated processes, methods, guidelines, policies and best practices.
• Designs, communicates and implements new approaches to reporting, policies, and SOPs to increase reporting accuracy and influence continuous improvements in operation efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Director to ensure responsibilities of RC teams are managed and functioning properly.
• Communicate with the Director on trends / issues in the AR that impact financials, i.e. AR balances and any potential negative impact on cash flow.
• Gathers, analyzes, and evaluates the results of billing operations regularly, adjusts performance needs, and shares with the Director of Revenue Cycle Management.
• Oversee Month-End reconciliations and analysis.
• Ensure that billing and coding practices comply with healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA and other relevant laws.
