Our client is a rapidly growing healthcare company that is seeking a proven Assistant Revenue Cycle Director! In this role, you'll have 100 FTEs in coding, collections, claims, billing, payment posting, and patient advocacy. This is your chance to bring new flair, experiences and education to their revenue cycle team! You'll focus on evaluating your Managers' roles and have the opportunity to redefine their duties if needed, elevate current processes as needed, and evaluate staff's roles and strengths.
Desired Skills, Qualities and Experiences :
- Strong working knowledge / understanding and experience working with a huge volume of out of network payers and how it relates to the No Surprise Act.
- 10 years of acute care hospital RCM experience highly preferred. Billing company setting experience is also great.
- Experience presenting in front of other facilities and staff.
- Understanding of the complete, full spectrum of revenue cycle including coding, payment posting, and patient access.
- Bachelors degree required.
- Experience restructuring / building new processes, adding automation and streamlining.
- Hands-on working manager that’s a doer and can wear multiple hats, and can also operate as a higher level Assistant Director.
- Can be stern, but a people person and have an open door policy.
- Is adaptable and open to change.
- Is self-motivated, able to run with the RCM Director’s expectations and work independently.
- Knows how to handle different personalities, and has a sense of humor.
