ER Registrar
Located in South Denver
Many different schedules available: Including overnights & weekends
Pay: $17.32-26.96 (weekend & night differentials) &PTO,Medical,Vision,Dental benefits
- Maintains open communication between clinical, ancillary, and patient access departments
- Offers prompt patient service and availability in the assigned work area
- Meets productivity standards and attendance requirements
- Provides PBX (Switchboard) coverage as needed
- Obtains and verifies insurance eligibility and benefits
- Obtains pre-authorizations and referrals from third-party payers
- Corrects demographic, insurance, and authorization errors
- Minimizes duplication of medical records and verifies patient identity
- Registers patients accurately and gathers critical demographic information
- Performs Medicare compliance review and eligibility checks
Must have:
- Medical background
- Ability to handle instability
- Reliable/Compassionate
