What are the responsibilities and job description for the MRI Technologist position at Medix™?
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients: Take patient history, explain procedures, and position patients on the table
- Operate equipment: Adjust and maintain MRI scanners, and administer contrast if needed
- Monitor patients: Monitor vital signs and provide immediate assistance if needed
- Take images: Follow physician orders to image specific areas of the body
- Evaluate images: Review images for quality and completeness, and take additional scans if needed
- Maintain records: Keep detailed patient records
- Communicate: Communicate with patients to alleviate anxiety
Hours:
- M-F Flexible (40 hours)
- No on call or weekends
Salary : $35 - $50
