Job Summary
A senior leader is needed to oversee and lead field inventory reconciliation teams, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies across Medline's distribution network. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive achievement of specified goals in total inventory adjustments, service levels, and loss prevention.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead field inventory control teams to reconcile inventory discrepancies, focusing on continuous improvement and process streamlining.
- Reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory adjustments for accuracy, ensuring timely completion of clearings and postings.
- Raise awareness among management peers on issues such as transactional concerns, SOP compliance, and DC trend concerns.
- Identify root causes of inventory trends and communicate findings to the VP of Inbound and Inventory or other leadership team members.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Develop and track metrics that enhance performance, allowing for timely improvements and desired outcomes.
Leadership and Team Development
- Develop and mentor staff through onboarding, open communication, training, and development opportunities, ensuring employee morale and motivation.
- Build and maintain a team with required competencies, ensuring adequate staffing and support.
Compliance and Regulatory Requirements
- Ensure compliance throughout the supply chain with all regulatory rules and guidelines.

- Oversee professional employees/teams or manage non-professional employees through supervisors in manufacturing, distribution, or office environments.
- Interpret and execute policies for departments/projects, developing new policies or modifying existing ones as necessary.
- Provide general guidelines and parameters for staff functioning, including hiring, recommending pay increases, performing performance reviews, and training staff.
