Overview
Job Summary (including but not limited to):
Completing birth certificates and fetal death certificates on BMC Birthing Unit. This candidate will also service Unit Administratively and perform secretarial duties .
Requirements:
- 3 years current experience as office registrar
- MA NOTARY REQUIRED (MUST BE BONDED/INSURED!)
- Will service Birthing Unit Administratively - Will process Birth Certificates
- HS graduate or GED
- Demonstrate the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, other health care providers required.
- Ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple job tasks on a daily basis to meet the needs of the department required.
- Knowledge of Meditech/Excel & Word preferred.
- Valid Driver License required for this need
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision/assistance
- Ability to comprehend, speak and write the English language
- Knowledge of medical terminology required
- Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prostheses that will enable these senses to function adequately so the requirements of the position can be fully met.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
