One of our clients, a pediatric care practice, is looking for a Practice Manager to join their team.
Job Summary :
The Practice Manager’s duties include overseeing daily operations to ensure compassionate care for patients from birth to age nineteen. Key responsibilities involve serving as a liaison between physicians, staff, and patients, managing office policies and procedures, handling employee relations, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations. The role also encompasses financial oversight, including payroll, budgeting, vendor contracts, and supply management, as well as maintaining technological systems and EMR software.
The Practice Manager is expected to provide strategic leadership, support practice growth, and foster an efficient, patient-focused environment while maintaining high standards of care and operational excellence.
Responsibilities & duties :
- Liaison between physicians and employees.
- Liaison between physicians and patients.
- Make sure offices’ policies and procedures are maintained and followed.
- Assist with employee complaints and disputes.
- Assist with patient complaints and questions regarding practices’ policies and procedures.
- Manage / Oversee our online presence and website development; update website as needed.
- Manage 401K administration and liaison with third party administrator.
- Manage insurance benefits and enrollment and liaison with insurance administrating company.
- Maintain credentialing for physicians with hospitals, CAQH, and assist Finance Administrator on payor credentialing.
- Monitor suite site conditions and liaison with building manager re maintenance / cleaning requests.
- Oversee vaccine inventory, forecasting, ordering, OP entry, usage. Manage flu season clinics, inventory pre-book and delivery. Complete necessary temperature excursion reporting. Assist with alternative immunization communications.
- Develop and implement personnel policies and programs.
