Job Title: Business Development Specialist – Engineered Medical and Laboratory Equipment
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Specialist to lead our efforts in driving growth for our engineered medical and laboratory air and gas equipment solutions. This individual will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and cultivating new business opportunities by building relationships with key stakeholders, including design architects, plumbing engineers, general contractors, hospitals, and universities.
This is a strategic and hands-on role designed for a candidate passionate about business development and capable of spearheading initiatives that expand our market reach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Proactively identify and qualify potential clients in target markets, including design architects, plumbing engineers, general contractors, hospitals, and universities.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with prospects to understand their needs and position our solutions effectively.
- Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, potential clients, and competitive opportunities to support business development strategies.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a business development plan that aligns with the company’s overall sales and growth objectives.
- Product Expertise: Gain a deep understanding of our engineered medical and laboratory air and gas equipment to confidently present solutions that meet client needs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, engineering, and marketing, to ensure seamless project handoffs and client satisfaction.
- Performance Metrics: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to lead generation, client engagement, and revenue growth.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in engineered products or technical solutions.
- Strong network or familiarity with industries such as healthcare, laboratories, or construction is highly preferred.
