Summary
The Application Support Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating initiatives and process improvement projects from the Applications Specialists, EDI Eligibility, and Application Support Project Coordinator teams as well as collaborating with other operational departments to find solutions to their business workflow needs. This position is primarily responsible for the effective planning, managing, and implementation of highly visible projects assigned to the teams this position supports.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Break projects into doable tasks, set timeframes, and goals, and organize and participate in project team meetings including the following :
o Schedule meetings (Confirm the necessary stakeholders are invited)
o Prepare Agenda and necessary presentation materials
o Manage and distribute meeting minutes to all project team members
o Document and follow up on all action items and decisions
Retrieve necessary information (e.g., end-user / client requirements and relevant case studies) for assignments.Create and maintain project management tracking and calendar sheets using Smartsheet to fulfill each project’s goals and objectives.Create team dashboards to measure and report on team project performance providing current statuses of active, completed, canceled, and pending projects, tasks, and initiatives.Monitor project requirements and deliverables to ensure adherence to quality standards, including document design, training materials, workflow diagrams, and operating policies.Provide frequent, detailed communication of project development, roadblocks, and status to the team’s leadership as well as the project business owners.Assess and communicate to the team’s leadership (Supervisor / Director) project risks and / or issues and provide solutions where applicable.Assist with creating and updating team processes diagram workflows, preferably using Microsoft Visio.Act as the point of contact for all requests and inquiries received by the teams this role is supporting.Other project tasks and responsibilities as required.Minimum Job Requirements
High School Diploma (Bachelor’s degree preferred) or, 3 years minimum experience in a similar role.Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio.Work experience with writing process documents, training materials, and workflow diagrams.Understanding of Managed Healthcare business operations is preferred, but not required.EZ-CAP experience preferred, but not required.Skill and Abilities
